N°22 WHERE THE STORY BEGINS

DIARY

EACH COLLECTION IS A HOUSE NUMBER

Often it happens that some of you ask why each collection is identified by a number. Before answering, I'd like to look back and tell you about the day when the idea was born, during a tea party with my girlfriends. I remember that the tea we were having had a particularly nice rose fragrance, so much so that despite the date being February 19th, Monaco seemed to be already perfumed by spring blossoms. In the midst of chats and girls' gossip, Sophie was moved by curiosity - that today I like to call "intuition" - and began searching for the etymology of the street we were in. We found out how Avenue de Grande Bretagne was once called Avenue de Fleurs. But even more astonishing was that the name was changed exactly on February 19th. After that, our imagination knew no more bounds, travelling faster than the clock - and in one afternoon we found ourselves with a new goal: to let the world breath in the scents of our street, collection after collection. And so, building by building, number after number, we take you to along the historic Rue Des Fleurs.
